About the NMRPC

The Nunavik Marine Region Planning Commission mandate is to develop planning policies and priorities for the Nunavik Marine Region (NMR). The primary purpose of land use planning in the NMR is to protect and promote the existing and future well being of those persons and communities resident in or using the NMR taking into account the interests of all Canadians. Special attention is devoted to protecting and promoting the existing and future well-being of the Nunavik Inuit and Nunavik Inuit Lands.

UOM Montreal

The NMRPC is completing its final Montreal interviews for the Use and Occupancy Mapping Survey Project at the Makivik Office for the week of June 6th and is seeking respondents that might be in Montreal and missed their chance while the NMRPC UOM teams were visiting their communities. Please contact the Makivik office for an interview slot.
